My Theory on 2 Spouses Working with a Baby

Theory: 2 Spouses Working With a Baby
Exhibits: Spouse1 & Spouse2
Uncontrollable elements: Baby & Daycare

Given Exhibits Spouse1 and Spouse2 are both employed, and Baby is in Daycare, the following are found to be true:

(1) Baby will be sick, resulting in Spouse1 and Spouse2 ro-sham-bo-ing to see who is going to stay home and get sick from Baby first, and then have to take care of sick Baby and sick self. Who will ultimately pass on sickness to opposing spouse. Result = a lot of missed work and frustration. Cycle will repeat indefinitely.

(2) Spouse1 and Spouse2 will ro-sham-bo to divvy up responsibilities of Baby, including but not limited to dropping Baby off, bathing, feeding, getting ready for Daycare, packing bag for Daycare, doing Baby laundry, entertaining Baby, diaper changes, because both Spouse1 and Spouse2 work and therefore neither can say to the other "I work and YOU stay home all day so can't YOU just do it?". Result = either Spouse1 or Spouse2 will inevitably be responsible for the majority of the responsibilities and discussions regarding the matter will become extremely granular in nature, "I have 4 freckles on my left cheek and you have only 2 so that means YOU need to do it!". Cycle will repeat indefinitely.

(3) More findings to come...

Adventures in SJSU Bookstore Land

Ok, I'm not even going to go into depth about how my day was at school.... let's just say hit yourself with a shovel and then bury your head in the sand and that pretty much sums it up.

Book Return & Buying New Books
So all I needed to do today was return a book and then buy a couple more... that was it. And I ended up waiting in 4 different lines, two of which ended up being the wrong lines, and another two entailed me walking all over the stupid student union trying to get in the right line. I must have walked like 3 miles today just to return a book and buy two more. Of which, ended up costing me another $100, like I seriously want to buy (2) books that combined cost $300... I'm in the wrong line of business I tell ya.... All in all I think the affair took me an hour. Which means that since my last class got out at 4pm, I didn't get home tonight until 6:30pm... super

Living La Vida Loca

Adventures Starting This Week
I'm going to be starting another semester tomorrow and quite honestly I'm not really looking forward to it. I just keep thinking how crazy my life is going to be taking 5 classes and working at the same time. Am I committing time suicide? Probably... But seriously what other choice do I have at this point, I'm pot committed to getting my degree.

Managing Expectations
Let me just publicly say that I'm sorry if I'm any of the following: snappy, pushy, distant, angry, non-existent, lazy, bitchy, won't return your phone call in 5 mins., not on IM or FB (please GOD no!) it's prob because I simply can't do anything other than stare at my computer screen and zone out.

Redbull How I've Missed You
I think this pretty much explains it all. And seriously people, I know this crap is awful for me, but give me a break ~ and get a life... seriously, I'm not a health nut so quit trying to make me into one. Otherwise I may start putting carbs and evil things like Splenda in the coffee without you knowing just because I'm evil like that.

As for this week ~ I'll keep you updated.
